केजरीवाल ने ईडी की कार्रवाई के खिलाफ कहा कि जिस तरह से उन्हें गिरफ्तार किया गया और जिस समय लोकसभा चुनाव से ठीक पहले उन्हें गिरफ्तार किया गया, जब आचार संहिता लागू हो चुकी थी। इससे साफ है कि एजेंसी बिना किसी कारण के जानबूझकर उन्हें परेशान कर रही हैं। चुनाव को प्रभावित करने के उद्देश्य से ही उनकी गिरफ्तारी हुई है। तिहाडॉ जेल जाने के बाद केजरीवाल अपने स्वास्थ्य को लेकर भी जेल प्रशासन और सरकार पर गंभीर आरोप लगाते रहे हैं। उनका दावा है कि केंद्र सरकार के इशारे पर जेल प्रशासन उन्हें इंसुलिन नहीं दे रहा है, जबकि वह लंबे समय से सुगर के मरीज हैं।
